You haven’t seen this much pink outside of Barbie’s Dreamhouse.
Kristin Chenoweth married Josh Bryant on Saturday in Dallas, exchanging wedding vows in a ceremony awash in pink, one of the actress and singer’s signature colors.
The Tony and Emmy award-winning star revealed the news in People magazine, which shared pictures to the couple’s verified Instagram accounts.
Chenoweth's representative confirmed the couple's nuptials to USA TODAY on Sunday.
Chenoweth, 55, donned a full-skirted, strapless blush Pamella Rowland gown, embellished with pearl flowers and with a statement bow at the back. She wore her hair loose and carried an unstructured bouquet of pink and white roses and dark greenery. Bryant, 41, a guitarist, wore a light gray suit by Michael Strahan for Men’s Wearhouse. Their wedding portraits show them posed in front of a black grand piano, surrounded by pink and white flowers.
The couple met in 2016, when Bryant’s then-band Backroad Anthem performed at Chenoweth’s niece’s wedding. They began dating a couple of years later, after the band played at her nephew’s wedding. The couple was engaged in a rooftop proposal in 2021.
Chenoweth described herself as a “a self-proclaimed bachelorette.”
“I was never going to get married,” she told People. “I even got engaged before (to actor Marc Kudisch) and couldn't do it. Until I met Josh. Then I was like, ‘Why would I ever let this guy go?’ “
She described their connection as good timing. “Josh is 14 years younger than me, and I thought that was ridiculous. I'm never going to do that in my life, ever,” Chenoweth told People. “But he's made me feel very confident and beautiful and loved at any age.”
Per People, the wedding was held at a private residence, and their dog Thunder served as ring bearer, making her entrance to AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck.”

Celebrity attendees included Katharine McPhee, David Foster and Kathy Najimy, People reported.
Famous friends such as Sterling K. Brown, Jonathan Scott, Rita Wilson and Garcelle Beauvais left congratulatory messages on Instagram.
“So happy for you both!!!!!!” Wilson wrote. “Two wonderful people who found each other!”
